Mutares actively supports and develops its portfolio companies with its own investment and consulting teams as well as through acquisitions of strategic add-ons. Our goal is to acquire companies with a revenue of EUR 100 to 750 million. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.

Within our OPS team, we are looking to hire a leader who has a successful track record in Supply Chain Management with a continuous improvement attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will be located at portfolio companies, on site across Europe.

Your Tasks

  • Lead Supply Chain Stream in restructuring projects: Provide focused leadership, strategic direction and expertise in Supply Chain Operations and engage key stakeholders of Projects workstreams
  • Define Turnaround concept and improvement glide path for Supply Chain (Service Level, Inventory, Logistics Costs, Process, Organization, Systems and Tools)
  • Timeously Monitor action plans, provide training and carry out workshop
  • Enable synergies between portfolio companies, identify benchmarks, deploy best practices
  • Support M&A-Team in due diligence with Supply Chain assessment and analysis

Your Profile

  • At least 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (Automotive, Distribution, FMCG, etc.)
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in the field of Supply Chain / Engineering
  • Structured and pragmatic approach to solve problems and drive impact combined with an entrepreneurial and team mindset, strong commitment and motivation
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, another European language is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week within EUROPE (typ. Mo-Thu)
