For our holding company in Munich, we are looking for a Senior Associate / Manager Group Finance – Reporting / Consolidation (m/w/d) to join our Finance department as soon as possible.

Your tasks

  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements / consolidation:
    • Supporting the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS for the Mutares Group
    • Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and half-yearly financial statements for the Mutares Group, including preparing capital market communications
    • Supporting in the maintenance of our reporting and consolidation tool (LucaNet)
  • Investment controlling / portfolio management:
    • Supporting individual portfolio companies with accounting issues, particularly in accordance with IFRS, and assisting with restructuring / transformation from the holding company's perspective
    • Monthly analysis of variances between actual and target figures in close contact with the operating investments, preparation of analyses and comments on results
    • Participation in reviews and handling of special issues within the portfolio companies

Your profile

  • 3-5 years of professional experience, e.g. in auditing (ideally at a Big 4 firm) or in industry (e.g. investment controlling)
  • University degree in economics, business law or a similar field with a focus on accounting, finance, controlling or similar
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity for numbers
  • Business fluency in German and English with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner
  • User knowledge of LucaNet is an advantage
  • Confident use of MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and in-depth knowledge of PowerBI and PowerPoint are an advantage
